Independent condition inspection before you commit, with defects, priorities and practical next steps.

Request an independent marine surveyor for a yacht, tourist boat, river vessel, fishing craft or commercial assignment in Cambodia. Matching starts with the exact coastal port, island, river berth or yard, vessel and survey purpose, Khmer-language coordination, access and haul-out plan and whether the work is private or part of a Ministry of Public Works and Transport process.
A pre-purchase inspection is not the same assignment as a tonnage measurement or commercial-code survey. We keep the scope clear from the beginning.

For pre-purchase and condition work, competence, experience, insurance and independence are central. For tonnage, registration, coding or statutory work, the flag or accepting organisation may also require a specific appointment.

No. Cambodia’s Ministry of Public Works and Transport is the competent waterway transport authority, and the legal framework covers vessel registration and technical inspection. A buyer or insurer survey is separate.
No assumption should be made. The Ministry or accepting authority must confirm the appointed inspector, applicable category, forms and certificates.
Potentially, subject to transport, weather and water level. The quotation should identify transfers, accommodation, safe boarding and whether the vessel can move to a suitable inspection site.
It is often useful for local operators, port or provincial officials and technical records. State who will provide bilingual coordination.
Only if listed in the quotation. Road travel, launches, accommodation, permits, slipway or lift, wash, relaunch and specialist testing can be separate.
Potentially. Tourist-vessel condition, damage, machinery, repair monitoring, ultrasound and commercial assignments require the right experience and any formal acceptance.
Choose the country where the vessel is located, or send the exact port, marina or yard so the assignment can be reviewed.
Tell us the vessel, exact Cambodian location and reason for the survey. We can help clarify access, travel and report requirements before you request an introduction.
